Goodbye To Two SBATD Members + Audition Information

Hello everyone!

My post today will be a bit different than usual, since, as you may or may not know, sadly two of our members, Maddie and Autumn, have resigned :(

I would like to thank Maddie and Autumn for their participation in Seven Bloggers And Their Dolls, and I know we will miss her great posts on here :(

Though, as you probably already guessed, that means that there are spots open again on Seven   Bloggers and Their Dolls, which means I will be holding auditions for the Tuesday and Sunday                 spot!

So, yes, the Tuesday and Sunday spots are open and I will be holding auditions!

Don't worry--there's nothing hard about these auditions--the way they will work is you will send me a message using the Blogger Contact Forms on my main doll blog, Oh My Dollies, and in that message please include your name or your screen name, why you would like to join the collab, and whether you are auditioning for Sunday or Tuesday.

ALL brands of dolls are welcome on this blog, not just AG, so, if you have more than just AG dolls or  have another brand of doll instead, you can most certainly participate!

The auditions start on January 11, and will end on January 20th, and I will be announcing the new member on January 19th at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time, so please have your audition in by then

I hope you can audition!

Part 2 Of My Lea Clark Reviews: Lea Clark's Mix and Match Swim Set

Hey everyone! Today, in Part 2 of my Lea Clark reviews, I will be reviewing the Mix and Match Swim Set, which retails for $34.

It is modeled on Truly Me #26, with her hair styled in a low ponytail.

This set comes with five pieces--two 2-piece swimsuits and one pink-and-white headband.

The first suit is a lime green top that is called a tankini by AG, with blue tribal print fringe that matches the rash guard, and florescent pink straps.

The top is super cute, and it feels just like a real swimsuit. I wish, that since it was described by AG as a "tankini", which is a swim top that is similar in length to a tanktop, it would have been closer to that length.

The bottoms are super cute and I love that they have the pink band on top :) I just wish they would be a bit better at staying up, since they love to sag :P

Here is what the suit looks like from behind. I wish the straps would connect directly behind instead of at the velcro, since it creates a bit of bunching.

Next up is the rash guard set!

This set includes a blue tribal print rash guard with pink fluorescent sleeves and the neckline is finished off in neon yellow. The bottoms are pink with the tribal print on the hips.

The top is so fun and colorful, and it goes so well with the rest of Lea's collection's color scheme.

The bottoms are really cute, and I like the detailing on the hips, but sadly they have the same problem  with staying in place as the first suit :(

Here is what the suit looks like from the back.

That's it for my review! Stay tuned for a review of Lea's Baby Sloth, coming soon!

Part 1 Of Oh My Dollies Lea Clark Reviews: Lea Clark's Bahia Outfit

Hey everyone!

Today, I went to Girl of the Year Lea Clark's debut at my local AG store, and I purchased four items from her collection, one of which I will be reviewing in this post.

But before we get started, I just wanted to let you know that most of my future Oh My Dollies posts will be watermarked in a way that would be difficult to edit out since I've been having a bit of trouble with my images being used without permission, so I apologize if the watermarks seem a bit annoying :)

In Part One of my GOTY 2016 Lea Clark reviews, what I will be reviewing is Lea's Bahia Outfit for Dolls, which retails for $28.

It is modeled on Truly Me #58, and in case you are curious, all photos were edited on PicMonkey.

This outfit comes with three pieces--a fun brightly colored pink-to-yellow dip-dyed top, blue chambray shorts, and yellow-green-and-orange elasticized braided strap sandals.

Now, let's take a closer look at the top and shorts, then a look at the adorable shoes :)

This shirt features, as mentioned above, a pink-to-yellow dip-dye, long sleeves,

and a bright, tribal-print shirt with some designs on the sleeves.

The shorts are described by American Girl as a blue chambray, and they feel and look so realistic!

The shoes are one of my favorite pieces in this set--they are so cute and I love the colors chosen! They stay on very well, and are simple to put on.

That's it for Part 1 of 4 of my Lea Clark item reviews! Stay tuned for a review of Lea Clark's Mix and Match Swim Set, coming soon!
