MCM Sale + THREE NEW DOLLS!?!?

Hey everyone! I am so excited, because....
TODAY I WENT TO THE MCM SALE!!!!! :D
AHHHHHHH!!! :D

It was so much fun, and an amazing experience--I hope we can go again next year! ;) I did record a "vlog-ish" thing while we were there, so look out on my AGTube channel for that soon ;)
Anyway, I did get quite a few items from the vendors and such, and I also got a few dolls.
Yes, dolls.
AHHHHH!! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHOW THEM TO YOU!! :D

Please note that I have been saving up for nearly a year to buy these dolls, and the dolls have been discounted to only $58 each :) A lot of the dolls I had wanted to get were sold out, so I ended up choosing these three lovely girls:

(I apologize for the terrible photo)
#47! :D She is such a lovely doll, and I just adore her :D I decided to name her Shona as I originally planned :) Any middle name suggestions are highly appreciated! :D

After looking at a few different dolls, I decided on the last #35 doll in stock at the sale! :D She  is just stunning! :D I  I decided to name her Bailey, and any middle name suggestions are highly appreciated! :D

Though the other two dolls I was considering (#30 and #40) were in stock, I fell in love with this particular #54 and she just had to come home ;) She is so adorable, and I just love her :D I decided to name her Melody,  and any middle name suggestions are highly appreciated! :D

My grandma and my mom also decided to get dolls, too! :D My grandma chose Saige, GOTY 2013, and my mom chose a MAG/TIM #24 who she named Liesel (pictures coming soon ;)  ) :D

Thank you so much for reading!

As I said, I would absolutely love some middle name suggestions for my new girls, too! :)

A NEW CAMERA.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! :D

I am so excited! :D This camera was meant to be my Christmas gift this year, but it came up for sale for a super amazing price, so we got it earlier ;) This is my main Christmas gift this year, so I am not just spoiled and randomly getting a new camera all the time ;) You may be wondering, "what camera did she get?" I got the...

After The Rain : Part One

Hey everyone! Today I will be sharing a few photos I took after the huge rainstorm that just ended featuring Grace in her raincoat ;) Just after I finished this set of photos, the sun decided to make an appearance after nearly a week of straight rain and clouds, so I decided to do one more photoshoot to post on Seven Bloggers And Their Dolls :P I was inspired to do a split/part post between my collab and main blog from Autumn, who did this a little while ago :) Anyway, here are the photos:

Thank you for reading!

As I said, later this evening I will be posting Part Two to this photoshoot onto Seven Bloggers And Their Dolls, so stay tuned for that! ;)

"What Would You Name This Doll?" Finally Returns!

Hey everyone!

Wow, isn't this a shock--I didn't disappear for another two weeks again! :P
I have been trying to get back into a regular posting schedule now, so that is why I've been on this mini posting spree lately ;)

Anyway, I realized it's been forever since I last did a "What Would You Name This Doll?" so I thought it would be fun to do this again :)

In case you didn't enter last time, Here's how "What Would You Name This Doll?" works: I'll pick an AG doll and I'll ask you, "What name would you give this doll?" and you can leave a few name suggestions in the comments. You'll have one week from now to leave your suggestions, and then I'll choose my favorites from what you leave, and have a voting on here for decide her name :)

The doll I will be featuring for this edition is...

TM #47!

 So, ready to start?

What would you name this doll?

Grace Heads To The Ice Rink!

Hey everyone!
I completely forgot to post this the other day, but this is just a couple quick photos I managed to get of Grace who came along to the ice rink with me on Doll Play Day decked out in her matching skating outfit and little duffle bag for her things since I had to go to figure skating practice ;)
Here she is posing by the Learn-To-Skate Program sign:

I ended up taking her back to the car early, though, since there was a lot of very little kids coming for the Public Skating Session who were very interested in "loving on" Grace so she was promptly returned to the safety of the backseat of our car ;)
Thank you for reading this very short and boring post! ;) If you do sports or any other activities, do you ever bring your dolls? If so, have you also encountered the "very tiny, grabby hands" issue? ;)

My Grandmother's Very First Photostory! :D

Hey everyone! I hope that if you participated in "Doll Play Day" you and your dolls had a fun time spending time together! (and if you didn't participate, that's fine, too! :)  ) I know me and my dolls had a wonderful day :) Today I will be sharing some "reader photos" AKA my grandmother's very first photo story that she came up with yesterday and did all by herself ;) So, the story and pictures featured all belong to her and she asked me to share it since she doesn't have a blog of her own ;)
 Here's her story:

One day, Josie decided to change up her hairstyle and curl her hair with some curlers she found.

"What has Jose done to her hair?" Molly said. "I will keep my braids in forever."

"Wow, this style is interesting," said Mia.

"What have you done to your hair?" asked Bridget. "I'm the only one in the family with wavy-curly hair."

Meanwhile, Molly was sitting with Dexter, my cat.

After a while, Josie took out her curlers.

"Wow, I really like this style!" said Josie.

"Hmm, that style is actually pretty," said Mia and Bridget. "Maybe we might just have to try it."

Oh, and she would also like me to share these pictures of her dolls' shoes ;)

My grandmother and I would like to thank you for reading her story! She says she hopes you all like it :)

"Doll Play Day" Tips And Ideas: #2

Hey everyone! I hope you have been having an awesome day with your dolls if you're participating in "Doll Play Day"! (and if not, I hope you are just having a great day :) ) I know me and my dolls are having a great time! :) This is part #2 of this "mini series" with the theme of doll hair care/styles :) All the style are just styles I kind of took one main idea (such as the infinity braid and flipped ponytail) and make them my own and simplify them a bit ;)
The first hairstyle I'll be showing you, with its wacky name and all, is the...

The "whatchamacallit" braid! XD The reason behind this odd name is I have absolutely no idea if this is an actual hairstyle with a real name, and if so, I have no idea what it's called :P Anyway, here's how to do this style:

You'll need:
~ A small spray bottle filled with water~A wire wig brush
~A unused toothbrush {optional}
~A few small doll hair ties

Lightly mist your doll's hair, and brush it free of tangles.

Divide a small section of hair by your doll's face.

Brush the hair back and away from her face as illustrated.

(I apologize for my terrible editing job on the photos below :P )

Divide a small section out of the larger piece.

Cross it down and over into the lower portion of hair.

Divide a piece of hair not from the main section, but from the lower piece.

Bring it up and into the main section.

Take a bit of hair from the top of the doll's head and pull it across the main section. (I hope that makes sense!)

Continue doing this until you reach the side of your doll's head, and then you can choose to continue it into a full fishtail braid or just tie it off into a ponytail. (I opted for the ponytail.)

Ta-da! :D

Next up is what I like to call the "Bubble Fishtail Flip" braid! (another funny name ;)  )
Here's how to do the style:

1. Gather your doll's hair back into a ponytail, securing it with an elastic.

2. Just above the elastic, poke your finger through to make a small hole.

3. Push the lower part of the ponytail though the hole.

4. The flipped part of the hair may look a bit odd, like above ^^^, so just tighten the hair as you would a normal ponytail.

5. Next, add another elastic, just a few inches below the one above.

6. Repeat steps 2-4 and add more hairties if you'd like a longer style.

7. Ta-da! You're done! :D

I hope you enjoyed this short tip for "Doll Play Day"! :) Whether you're participating or not, have a wonderful dolly-filled day ;D
