Official Collab Blog Details!

Hi again! I decided I will be going ahead with the collab blog idea! Thank you to all who commented on my last post and gave your opinion, I really appreciated it.

I decided to do a more "official" post with better details about how this collab will work ;)

So the seven girls will currently include me, but if there is huge amount of girls offically auditioning for a spot, my day will go to another person. My day currently will be whichever day no one else wants :)

Oh, that brings me to another thing--I will be holding real auditions for the spots!

Don't worry--there's nothing hard about these auditions--the way they will work is you will send me a message using the Blogger Contact Forms on my sidebar including your name or your screen name, why you would like to join the collab, and which day you prefer.

I will be announcing the six others along with me that will be doing the collab on Sunday, February 1 by 4:30 P.M. Eastern Time , so please have your audition in before then ;).

If you are not able to participate each week, that is OK! I'm just happy that people are actually interested in participating! I never expected anyone to even be interested, so this is such a big surprise!

One change from the first post about this (The one right below this one) is that ALL dolls are included now, not just AG, so, if you have more than just AG dolls or  have another brand of doll instead, you can most certainly participate!

Oh, one more thing--since this is a collab/group blog, I think we should come up with an idea for a blog name together instead of me just picking one and hoping everyone will like it ;)

So I will be doing a later post announcing the seven (including me) that made it and will be participating in the collab, and within that post you can comment name suggestions ;)

UPDATE: the Blogger Contact Form is having some issues and not working for some people, so if you would like to audition but the Contact Form is not working please just post your audition in a comment below :)

P.S.--I just updated my blog design! What do you think of it?

Collab Blog?

Hi everyone! I just had a quick question to ask you all--if I started an AG Collab blog, would any of you be interested in joining? If you aren't sure what a collab blog is, a collab blog is just where seven girls each choose a day of the week and post on their collab blog that they all share, and everyone would post each week on the day they chose :) The collab blog would be separate from this blog, and it would have the title of whatever the collab blog's name would be, not Oh My Dollies ;) The theme of the collab would obviously be AG and AG photography and anything AG! ;) I thought this would be fun because we would all be able to pool our ideas and opinions all on one blog and be able to share our doll photography together while still mainly posting on our own individual blogs :) I'm not sure how many people would be interested in participating in doing this, and it's OK with me if no one is interested at all--this was just an idea ;) Please let me know in the comments if participating in something like this would interest you! :)

The "Random Award" And "The You Are Amazing And So Is Your Blog Award"!

Hi everyone! It turns out that I missed a couple of awards yesterday--the "Random Award" from Hunter, the "You Are Amazing And So Is Your Blog Award"  from It's A Doll World Ella and Gumnut Street Dolls Ella Louise! Thank you so much, Hunter, Ella, and Ella Louise!

4. Let your nominees know they have been nominated somehow.
5. Add this reward to your sidebar.
6. Have as much fun as possible and be as random as you like!

Here are Hunter's questions:

I'm going to guess about two or three ;)

3. What do you think of this award and the questions?

This is really fun and a great idea!

4. Do you have any idea what I mean when I say StarClan?

I'm guessing it has something to do with the Warrior Cat book series?

I was singing and went to take a sip of water while still singing and I made a weird gurgling noise XD

6. Have you ever named your laptop?

A few weeks ago I decided my computer needed a name, and since it is a Samsung brand (I do have my dad's really old Macbook, but it isn't working right now), I named it Sammy Samsung XD I also named my camera Nellie Nikon (After the AG historical Nellie O'Malley) and I named my Kindle Kristen Kindle because it was a gift from a person named Kristen and I thought it sounded like a good name for a Kindle XD

I would probably order one of my favorite foods--spaghetti!
If you could live in a different state, which one would you choose?
I would move to Iowa since my grandma lives there :)

Here are my questions for the nominees of the Random Award:

4.) Do you ever say that you are going to go do something like take pictures of your dolls or go re-do their hairstyle but end up doing something super silly with your dolls instead, like acting out a dramatic, silly story with them or just playing with them and hoping no one will come upstairs and see you acting like this or is it just me that does this? XD

5.) How many times have you just tripped over your own feet while walking down a hall? (I have done this countless times :P)

Felicity's OOTW For Maddie's OOTW Challenge

Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting in a while :( Anyways, this is my entry for the wonderful Maddie's OOTW Challenge! The doll I'm featuring is Felicity :) Onto the OOTW, from Felicity's perspective. Take it away, Felicity! ;)

**********************

Hi everyone! I'm Felicity, and I will be entering the OOTW Challenge! The Outfit I am wearing is what I like to wear for one of my favorite hobbies, skateboarding! I never learned how to skateboard in 1774 because it,

1.) had not been invented

2.) was most certainly not a proper pastime for a young lady! ;)

But when my new sister, Nora, got her skateboard for Christmas, she said she would teach me how to use it! I am now getting pretty good at it ;) But, anyhow, back to the outfit! I am wearing:

~Isabelle's Coral Sweater
~Tank top from the Ruffled Hoodie Set
~Shorts from the now retired Skateboarding Set
~Turquoise high tops from Mia's Meet Outfit
And Shelby-Grace styled my hair into a high ponytail :)

First off, a look at my sweater and tank top:

I love the sweater! It's such a soft material and a lovely color. The thumb holes are a fun touch, too :) I really like the asymmetrical hemline. The tank top is a very nice shade of blue and is very comfortable and good for layering.

Here are my shorts:

The shorts are amazing! They are a perfect color and go great with everything, and I love the detail AG put into them :D

Here's a look at my high tops:

These are so fun to wear! I love the magenta colored laces, and the turquoise really pretty :) These shoes go great with many outfits, which is always a plus ;)

Here's a few random pictures I decided to throw in just because:

So, that's my OOTW! Thanks for reading!

My Custom Doll Is Finally Done!

Hi everyone! I am so excited--I just finished my custom doll!! Yes, Andrea is finally done!!!! :D :D The customization process was really fun and everything went well, including limb tightening ;)
I had originally been planning to name her Eleanor, but the name seemed to fit my Isabelle doll more than it would fit her, so her name is now undecided :( So, I'd love to hear your suggestions for first and/or middle names for my custom! Let me know in the comments below if you have any name suggestions!! ;)
Anyways, onto some pictures of my custom! ;)

What do you think of my new custom? Don't forget to comment names for her! ;)

But anyways, the wonderful Emily from A Falling Star and American Girl Dolls And Me nominated me for the "You Are Amazing And So Is Your Blog Award"! Thank you so much, Emily! You're so sweet :)

Here's the rules:

Do you prefer gummy bears or gummy worms/snakes?

I prefer gummy bears :)

Ice cream or frozen yogurt?

AHHHHHHHHHH! I can't decide--I love both :P ;)

Would you rather go bungee jumping or sky diving?

I would rather go sky-diving, but bungee jumping sounds fun, too :)

Would you rather have long and green hair or short (buzz cut) and pink hair

I'm not super into colored hair, but I really love my long hair that I have now, so I suppose I'll choose long and green :)

Do you like Tangled or Frozen?

Frozen is my favorite :)

Thank you again, Emily! I really appreciate that you nominated me :)

~ The Chosen One ~ A Photoshoot

Hi everyone! I finally got around to doing a photoshoot with Felicity! ;) I feel like she isn't featured enough on my blog, so I'm glad I finally did something with her :) Also,

WE. FINALLY GOT. SNOW.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I can finally do "Under The Cover Of Night"! I did make some changes to the storyline, but it will be pretty similar to the synopsis ;)

So, anyways, onto the photoshoot! ;D

Can you guess who Felicity is dressed up as? It's a little hard to tell, in this picture, so here's a better one:

If you guessed Elita Carpenter from Aspen Heights, you are correct! The scar got a little smudgy on her neck when I was applying it, so it looks a little odd :/ Oh, and please excuse the weird little smudge on the pictures--a piece of snow melted on the lens, and I tried to wipe it off, which left a smudge on it :P

I added some freckles to Felicity using AGSmiless' tutorial :) They are completely washable, and were really easy to do ;)

Felicity ended up accidentally falling backwards into the snow, but she is OK after some drying off ;) I did take advantage of her falling into the snow by taking a few pictures of her like that ;D

Thank you for reading!

Are you a fan of Aspen Heights?

Updates Again :P

Hi everyone! It's time for the seemingly never-ending stream of update posts from us. Yay. :P To break up the monotony of this post, I'll be sporadically placing a few photos from a recent photoshoot to break up the text.

Why, here's one now! These are all going to be pictures of Nora, by the way.
So the first thing I needed to say was that I haven't forgotten about doing my custom doll. I just put it off a few months because it scares me to actually take the head/hair off my doll to rewig her and tighten her limbs :P But finally I've worked up enough courage to take off her wig and tighten her limbs and her wig is on its way :) So, be watching over the next few weeks for a "custom doll" post ;)

Oh, and this summer we will be attending the MCM Sale in Wisconsin, which I am extremely excited for! :D Please let me new in the comments if you'll be attending the sale, because it would be awesome if I saw you there ;) I am hoping to be able to get a few dolls off my wishlist there, too :)

I'm still not sure how soon I'll be able to get "Under The Cover Of Night", because there is still no snow, which is extremely odd for where we live :P I may have to change a lot of things about this story so I can get it up sooner, so the story line may have to differ from what I wrote up in the synopsis :P

I'm still learning how to use my new camera, so my photoshoot picture quality probably won't be very good since I'm still adjusting to using my new camera :P On the subject of my new camera, I did take the pictures I'm using as page breaks in this post with my new camera, and I think they turned out OK, but I know they aren't my best ever :P

Thank you so much for reading this very dull post :P I hope you all have an amazing day :)

My Thoughts On Grace Thomas

Hi again! ;) Today I will be doing my "Thoughts On Grace" post! :)

FIRST OFF:

Grace herself! I wasn't able to go to her debut, but I have seen other pictures of Grace from people who did go to her release, and she is so pretty! I think the shirt is a little stereotypical with the Eiffel Tower and French inscription and seems kind of touristy to me, but otherwise her outfit is so adorable! I love her charm bracelet, too :) I really like the new eyebrow style and freckle pattern, too! :D I can't tell what shade of blue her eyes are, though. One thing that seems strange to me:

Her "Doll and Book" listing that does not include pierced ears pictures her wearing her heart earrings! It seems a bit misleading to me.

Her welcome gifts are adorable! I love the bouquet of flowers and the box of macaroons :)

I absolutely love this outfit! It's so cute and fun! I love the mix of prints and colors they used :)

I love this set! And the tablet is such a cute touch! :D

This is probably my favorite outfit from Grace's collection, even though it's PJs ;) The mix of colors are so cute, and I love the slippers!

This is really cute! I'm not a huge fan of the shorts, though :/ However, it's perfect for mix-and-match :D The shoes are really cute, too :)

I really like her accessories! They remind me of Isabelle's quite a bit ;)

I really like this outfit. too! The headband is a little too big for my taste, though ;)

This is too adorable! I love all the details! $150 seems a bit too much, but knowing AG, I expected a hefty sum for this ;)

This set is too adorable! I really want to get this :) The tickets seem really realistic, but the passport unfortunately doesn't look like a real passport at all :(

This outfit is so beautiful! I love the colors and design :D

This set is so cute! I agree with a review I read on this a few days ago--It would have been nice to have a larger table and a second chair for the price AG is charging :)

Bon Bon is so adorable! I. MUST. HAVE. HER. ;)

And finally, the bakery. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. It's just so cute!!!!! Unfortunately it's not in my price range, though :(

Thank you for reading!
What do you think of Grace and her collection? What pieces do you plan to get?
