Sad News + A Photoshoot With Lauryce

Hi everyone! I unfortunately have some sad news to announce today: I will have to postpone Under The Cover Of Night until it snows again. Why? Well, for the storyline, I really need to have snow and all our snow melted and I didn't have all my pictures I needed done :P But I will have it up as soon as it snows again (which will hopefully be soon) :) We also just got back from vacation, so I have a better internet connection now :D Also, on vacation, my mom didn't bring her camera along, so I ended up using my own Nikon Coolpix L8 camera for all my pictures :) Even though it's just a fairly inexpensive point-and-shoot style camera, it can take some decent pictures, so I did a mini photoshoot with Lauryce with it :D Here's my photoshoot with her!

(please excuse my hand in this picture ;)  )

Thanks for reading!

P.S.--I just added an Aspen Heights edits page to my blog! I'd love it if you could check it out! ;)

AGP Atlanta, NEW DOLL?!?!?!, And Belated Blogoversary :D

Hi everyone! As you probably know, I got to go to AGP Atlanta yesterday! We arrived there a bit later than expected (just before suppertime) because of some major traffic jams on the way there ;P Also, the reason this post is up so late is because the internet wasn't working for a while at the hotel we're at :P

Here's a picture of Felicity outside!

The size of this store is probably comparable to the one in Kansas City. It's one floor, but seems fairly good-sized ;)

And here's the Happy Holiday dress for Kathryn and Marissa! Sorry for such a horrible picture :(

Here's a look at the BeForever displays:

Sorry again for missing some of the girls' collections, I was so excited about shopping that I forgot :P

Here's Addy's bed!

And the MAG bathtub ;D

The newest MAG pajama sets!

And the Pretty City carriage for !

Here's Isabelle's collection for MarissaJana, and Dollympics547!

And Felicity relaxing in the bed ;)

I took this picture for Adaline even though she didn't request it, because I thought is was just too funny not to! It's her twins, Charlie and Willow, standing next to each other in the MAG case! ;D

And here's the MAG displays for Jana! The reason the last one only has half the case in it is because a lot of people were standing in front of it :(

I found it amusing how messy these Samanthas' hair is brand new in box! They're not even wearing a hair net! ;)

And here's the current PWP! It's really cute :)

I did get a few items while we were there, as you can see from the picture below :D

I got the Preppy Pet Outfit, the AGP Atlanta exclusive tee, and the Frosty Fair Isle pajamas! They're all really cute sets. and I highly recommend them :D

I also received one more surprise........................................

Hearts For Hearts Girl Lauryce! We were walking through Target and I decided to go down the doll isle and I saw her and knew she had to come home ;) She is an extremely gorgeous doll--I just love her!

When my family went to see a movie today, I took Lauryce along so I could snap a few pictures of her ;D

Displaying IMG_5407.JPG

Here she is! She's really such a beautiful doll! :D

When I saw this "The Hobbit" poster, I immediately thought of Adi, so I quickly posed Lauryce in front of it ;)

ALSO, somehow I completely forgot about my 6 month blogoversary that was almost a week ago! Thank you all so much for your support and comments, it really does mean a ton to me :)

Thanks for reading!

Updates

Hi everyone! This is a (hopefully) quick update post to let you know what's going to be going on for the next couple days :)

First, I'm extremely sad to say that I have to cancel Seven Days Of Dolliday Crafts because we're leaving for our vacation way sooner than we planned, so I won't be able to access all my craft supplies  so I can make the items for my series :(

On a better note, once I get home I'll be doing a really fun giveaway sponsored by Sew Sweet Doll Boutique! I'm really excited to be doing this giveaway with her, and the outfit she sent me to give away is absolutely adorable, and I'm sure you'll agree :)

Also, if you would like me to take any pictures of anything in particular at AGP Atlanta, please comment below and let me know and I will do my best to take them :D

Also, this is kind of random, but the doll I decided to take with me was Felicity ;D

Anyways, I hope you all have an amazing rest of the week! I'll be posting some fun vacation pictures of Felicity soon :D

7 Days Of Dolliday Crafts: Day One

Hi everyone! For the first Seven Days Of Dolliday Crafts, I'm going to be showing you how to make Doll-Sized Turkey decorations for your dolls' Thanksgiving table! Also, please forgive the horrible quality of my pictures, I had to use my old Nikon Coolpix camera to take these pictures because my mom needed to use her camera and that was the only camera left ;) Here's the supplies you'll need:

*Scissors
*Wooden beads
*Markers
*Pencil
*Construction paper
*Glue (not pictured)

I will be using hot glue because my mom was using before me and it was already warmed up so I decided to use it ;) If you decide to use hot glue, please be careful and ask an adult to help you!

Step One: Choose a piece of construction paper and draw a small teardrop-shape on your paper with your pencil. This will be the turkey's feather. (Please ignore the weird scratch on my hand, I accidentally hurt it this morning ;P )

Cut out the feather.

Once you have as many feathers as you want, set them aside, out of the way of the markers and glue ;)

Take one of your wooden beads

And using your marker, draw on the turkey's face!

Take another bead

And put the glue of your choice on the top of the bead, where the hole is.

Take the turkey's head and carefully press it on to the glue on the top of the other bead.

Since the beads are round, they can't sit well on their own, so what I did was cut a small square of construction paper and glue my beads onto it to help keep the turkey upright ;)

Here is the turkey so far!

Take one of the feathers

And dab some glue on the back of the feather and press the feather onto the back of the turkey. Continue adding as many feathers as you want.

And you're done! This will be the perfect decoration for your dolls' Thanksgiving table ;)

Let me know if you decide to try this! :)
