AG Posted Sneak Peeks Of Grace On Their Website!

Hi everyone! I just checked the AG site and noticed that they added something new:

AG is doing their annual "sneak peek" preview for GOTY 2015, Grace Thomas!

The image that says "Girl of the Year" behind Grace and the purple star color schemeis rumored to be the colors for the GOTY boxes from now on :)

In the image link to the journal, AG included Grace's name written just like on the tags on her new clothing will have and will most likely be her logo for this year like Isabelle had. Here's a better look at the logo:

Grace also has a downloadable app:

And a free game for computers:

What is your opinion on Grace Thomas so far?

  1. Yaay! So cool, I have to go on Ag's website like, RIGHT NOW! I haven't had much of a chance to read everyone's blogs and go on the computer so far (until now) because of Christmas vacation.

  2. Wow, that's awesome Shelby-Grace! I really like Grace, but the likelihood that I will get her is extremely low. :) I will probably get some of her collection though because it is adorable!

  3. I think Grace is a pretty doll, but I am not going to get her because she looks too similar to some of my other dolls. I am slightly disappointed that she looks a little like past GOTYs, and I would have preferred a more original doll (possibly of a different race). However, I still think her collection is cute and I will probably purchase a few pieces from it. :)

    1. Hi Mint! I'm a little disappointed that she looks a bit like some of the past GOTYs, but since I don't have any dolls with this combo yet, it doesn't bother me too much ;) I really wish she was of a different race too--They haven't made any dark skinned GOTYs besides Kanani (who technically had medium skin) and Sonali (who was the GOTYs friend) :( I really like her collection, too :)

    2. Yea good point they need to make ETHNIC DOLLS. Make an Asian one. This time full Asian not half white half Asian like Jess. They are two black AG dolls overall Addy and Cecile. One Indian who is Sonali. One Native American Kaya. One Asian, Ivy counting Jess 2. Two Jewish Rebecca and Lindsey. ( See I bet you guys forgot about Lindsey.) ( some people consider it an ethnicity if you study the Bible and demographics you would know). One Hispanic Josefina. The other million are CAUCASIAN. Not being racist but they need ethnicity. Not jut for me but they are gonna lose ethnic customers.

  4. So dissapointed. She is the mixture of Chrissa and McKenna. She has Chrissa's hair color and eye color and McKenna's hair length and texture. And she has both of their face molds. I dislike her so much. I like her story and how she likes to have her own business and her French roots but not the doll. Geez AG, you guys are running out of ideas.

  5. I do like her meet outfit. The rest of the doll is HORRIBLE. Ranking the Gils of the Year based on looks.
If I am being completely honest, the most unique girl of the year in American Girl history is Kanani Akina. I'm not just saying that because I have her. She is truly unique. Why can't they make a doll that is from a unique background like Kanani?

    1. Hi Gabrielle! Thank you for sharing your opinion. I agree that she is a bit of a mixture of Chissa and McKenna, but I really like the combo of the two (I'm a bit biased though because I really wish I had been able to get Chrissa and McKenna ;) ) so it's not a huge problem for me :) I also think the reason they made a doll with similar features to McKenna and Chrissa is because I am pretty sure that those two dolls were big sellers for AG, so they thought that a doll with a combonation of those dolls' features would make her go over well. I really like Kanani, too--I wish I could have also gotten her! That's very cool that you have her :)
